What should you learn next?

You will find that in real estate you are wearing many hats and you will have to do many things at the same time. Nobody will give you tasks to do or a list to check off, this is downside but at the same time also the upside of being your own boss and owning your own business!

Many agents find their own rhythm after a while and if that’s you then you have a good idea of what you want to do next, though I would suggest to learn our transaction management system before you actually need it, so it will be smooth sailing while you have a transaction.

If you are a new agent, here is my suggestion: Make schedule for yourself. Schedule a time when you start working every morning, say 9 am. Then prospect for 3 hours, call expireds, fsbo’s or people in your database, work on social media ads and other prospecting venues. Next a 30 min break and after that  work on your CRM for one hour. Add contacts, make sure you have email, mailing address, phone numbers and birthdays. If you don’t have that, use that as a reason to call that person and just connect and get the missing info and add that to your CRM. After that take one or two hours to learn the contracts. Watch how to fill out a buyers packets, then do a mock one, then the same with a sellers packet. Then take an hour or two to learn the transaction management system. There are also a lot of videos that will be helpful in the Agent Success Training.  Remember that you don’t have to do everything each day! You can do Transaction management training one day and Agent Success Training the next day. One thing you you have to do EVERY DAY is prospecting!  Each morning you wake up without an active client, you are essentially unemployed. So prospecting is a must for at least 3 hours every day – no exceptions!
